I have had a wonderful time getting settled into Tsinghua and exploring everything the campus has to offer. Everyone I've met here has been so nice and helpful, making it easy for me to adjust and get set up for success.
One thing that really surprised me was how great the athletic facilities are. There are tons of tennis courts, basketball courts, several modern gyms, and even an exercise room in my dorm. These places have been perfect for meeting friends - both international and local students - as everyone comes out to play sports, living up to the school's "No Tsinghua No Sports" motto.
My favorite class has been Elementary Chinese. My teacher is amazing and has made learning Chinese much less scary than I thought it would be. I'm shocked by how much Chinese I've picked up in such a short time!
All the teachers and staff really want to see you do well and grow during your time at Tsinghua. I definitely recommend applying - no matter where you're from, you'll find something at THU for you!
