I was honored to participate in the exchange program in Aachen, Germany. The program offered a rich schedule of site visits and learning opportunities, including tours of mining facilities, mechanical manufacturing enterprises, museums, startup incubation centers, and university campuses. Through these activities, I gained a deep appreciation for the rigor and innovation of German industry, as well as its vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, traveling through German cities and neighboring countries allowed me to experience the charm of Europe’s diverse cultures. Throughout the journey, our German peers accompanied us, enabling us to immerse ourselves in local lifestyles while building lasting friendships. Later, our partners from RWTH Aachen University visited Tsinghua for a reciprocal exchange. We showed them around our campus and introduced them to the cultural life of Beijing. This international exchange was an invaluable opportunity that broadened my global perspective and strengthened my cross-cultural competencies.
