【Abstract】While responsible leadership is often considered an umbrella concept to reevaluate leadership in the context of stakeholder theory, the ongoing rapid evolution of research studies is establishing parameters for a distinct research field. In addition, the developments in the corporate responsibility and sustainability areas reflect the key considerations brought forth by responsible leadership research: the need to achieve societal and environmental targets and objectives of sustainable value creation and positive change on a global scale.
