The first TIEMBA class began in June of 2007 with its opening ceremony at Tsinghua SEM in Beijing. The program has had a total of 242 students, including current students and alumni, representing 35 nationalities. 21% of the students are from China, including Taiwan, Macao and Hong Kong. The program features 10 learning modules that focus on a wide range of subjects and topics, including economics, finance, operations management, and cross-cultural communication. Five of the modules are held in the Tsinghua SEM campus in Beijing, while the other five are conducted in INSEAD’s campuses in Singapore, France and Abu Dhabi.
